The Trout Stream, Chatsworth

In 2015, following on from the success of the Chatsworth/Laurent Perrier garden at Chelsea, I was employed by Dan Pearson Studios to set out the planting for the regeneration of Trout Stream at Chatsworth. Elements of the show garden such as the rock stacks, walkways and the David Nash sculpture that had featured at Chelsea, along with some of the trees and plants were relocated to the Trout Stream area which was the original inspiration for the show garden. This area reopened to the public this year.

Horatio’s Garden, Salisbury

In 2011, I was involved first as consultant and then subsequently as project manager for the first Horatio’s Garden at the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Unit, Salisbury. The garden was designed by Cleve West and built by Wycliffe Landscapes, and I worked in collaboration with both of them as well as the NHS to ensure that the project ran smoothly, on budget and to time. The garden opened in September 2012, and is now a national charity providing beautiful gardens in spinal centres.

I now volunteer at the garden as and when time allows.
